Mr Larry Kwok Lam-kwong (Chairman), Mr Simon IP Shing-hing, Hon Kenneth LEUNG Kai-cheong, Mr Clement TAO Kwok-lau, Miss Lisa LAU Man-man, Ms Ann SO Lai-chun, Prof Alfred CHAN Cheung-ming, Mr Herman HUI Chung-shing and Ir Edgar KWAN Chi-ping met with representatives from the Civil Human Rights Front (CHRF). During the meeting, CHRF representatives raised issues concerning the police’s abuse of power during the Occupy Movement, their acquisition of water cannons and the tightening of guidelines regarding the handling of unlawful assemblies. The CHRF also recommended the IPCC to request for the police guidelines on the use of water cannons and to subsequently publicise the guidelines. The IPCC will discuss these matters internally and raise these issues with the Police.
